Fursuit Terms and Conditions

By buying a premade or commission, you are agreeing to my TOS :)

General
You must be 18 years or older to work with The Prize Counter in any capacity.
After the quote process and commission acceptance, We will ask for a photo of ID with your name, face and birthday to prove age and identity. Please black out all other information.
WE OWN CATS. While we do our best to separate them from our work, it is not always possible. We cannot promise that our work is free from allergens.
We have a no harassment policy! If harassment is given in any way, we will refund you in full and your commission will be canceled.
We do not condone the actions of previous clients
We reserve the right to cancel any commission with a full refund at any time, for any reason. This is non-negotiable!

Premades
Refunds for premades will not be considered.

Commissions
We reserve the right to cancel any commission with a full refund at any time, for any reason.
Turnaround time will be given at the time the quote is given.
Quotes are valid for 3 weeks. Quotes will only be given via openings on Twitter using Google Forms and emails. Quotes will never be given in person. Quotes do not confirm your commission acceptance. Quotes do not include shipping.
Reference sheets - Clients must provide an unshaded, digital reference sheet. Front and back views are required as well as mouth, paw pad, claw colors, ect, if applicable.
VR CHAT/SCREENSHOTS OF ANY KIND WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
Accessories that are included must also be present on the reference sheet if the client wants them included in quotes/production.
Fursuits will be made according to the reference sheet sent at the time of the quote process. Any changes that stray from the original reference sheet sent will incur fees or may be denied.
We will not accept other makers' work as references at any time during the commissioning process.
Progress photos will be sent as they are taken. We reserve the right to use any photos taken of your fursuit during construction for promotion. If you do not want progress of your fursuit shown on social media, you must let us know BEFORE work on your fursuit starts.
DTDs (Duct Tape Dummies) are required for full fursuit commissions.

Payments
Payments will only be taken via invoices sent from Stripe. All payment is due upfront upon acceptance. Payment must be made within 48hrs of the invoice being sent.
Payment plans are not accepted at this time.

Refunds
Refunds for premades bought in person will never be considered.
Client Cancellations-
Should you decide to cancel your commission, there will be a 20% non-refundable fee that covers the initial communication work and commission slot reservation.
If work has been started, refunds will be negotiated depending on current progress of the commission.
If the project is 100% complete, there will be no refunds.
If at any time we are unable to finish your commission or if your commission is canceled by us, you will receive a full refund.
We reserve the right to re-use any assets made for your commission barring it not resembling the original character in the case that a full refund or partial refund is given.
Small parts such as paws, tails, ect will be sold as is, unmodified.
Harassment of any kind to anyone, anywhere, will result in a full refund.

Shipping
Shipping prices are never included unless otherwise stated. They are an additional cost and are the responsibility of the client.
Quotes for shipping will be sent directly to the client and should be paid within 24hrs to ensure the shipping price does not change. Insurance and tracking numbers will be included in shipping prices. I will not ship fursuits without insurance and tracking.
Shipping prices are non-negotiable.
We are not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged packages/items.
We are not responsible for any customs fees.

Warranty
We have a limited warranty on both Premades and Commissions.
While The Prize Counter has no moral issues with our work being used for NSFW in any way, NSFW Fursuits or Fursuits used in NSFW activities void the warranty due to hygienic concerns.
Your suit has a 3 month warranty from the date it arrives to you as marked via the tracking number or from the date it is bought in person. Any maker made or construction errors will be repaired for free. Popped seams, rips or sizing adjustments will be looked at on a case by case basis.
Any damage caused by the client is not covered under any warranty.
Construction errors DO NOT include imperfections such as marking symmetry or shaving symmetry.
Fursuits are handmade pieces of art and will not be perfect.
Out of box problems should be reported with photos within 24hrs of receiving the product. Items should be shipped back within 7 days to qualify for repairs.
The client is responsible for all shipping fees.
Any items shipped for repair are the clients responsibility.
We are not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged packages/items.
We do not take repair requests outside of the 3 month initial warranty. If you need repairs on your suit made by The Prize Counter, you will need to find a different maker to receive them.
Any modifications made to the fursuit by anyone other than The Prize Counter may void the warranty.
Premades Bought in person
Due to the nature of buying a premade fursuit in person - Any repairs needed will be looked at on a case by case basis and will not always fall into the regular warranty guidelines. Your request for repairs may be denied.
Please always take time to consider your purchase and fully go over the premade suit you are interested in before buying to ensure you are okay with the construction and imperfections.
